We also have you covered Dad.

Nine months of pregnancy will go fast, we know the experience is overwhelming and there are a lot of unknown and uncertainties.  Try your best to enjoy every moment and try to empathise with your partner when she is feeling uncomfortable or moody.

Some men actually also experience pregnancy symptoms with their partner, this interesting phenomenon is called ‘Couvade Syndrome’ which means sympathetic pregnancy, but don’t feel too alarmed if you are not feeling this.

Most dads-to-be don’t really understand what pregnancy is like, having a baby is fairly removed from the real thing until you having to face nappy changing and sleep deprivation.

It’s very difficult to relate to the reality of what your partner is really going through, carrying and growing a baby for nine months, here are some tips for dad’s to stay more involved:

•Face the reality of feeling anxious

•Also loose the bad habits

•Be present

•Stay informed

•Help with the preparations
